RoamCub makes apps for young children, so we keep things simple.
The short version
- No accounts. Nobody signs up or logs in, so we don't collect names, emails or ages.
- No ads. There are no adverts and no ad networks.
- No tracking. We count visits anonymously with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track individuals.
- Progress stays on the device. Things like which places have been visited are saved in the browser on that device only.
Other services
To show maps and photos, the apps load map tiles and public images from third-party services such as OpenStreetMap-based map providers and Wikimedia Commons. Those services see standard web requests, like any website.
Our websites are hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard security logs (such as IP addresses) to protect the service. We don't use these to identify anyone.
Children and parents
We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you're a parent and think something has been collected, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we add new features, like paid upgrades, we'll update this page and the date above first.
